About Besparkle*

I set up Besparkle*Ltd in 2005 to help businesses and PR teams produce sparkling written marketing materials. Lack of time or skill can make copy deadlines scary – working with Besparkle means you can hand the job over and relax, knowing I’ll get the job done to the brief, on time, and within budget. My clients love me because I make their lives easier.

I’ve turned great PR campaigns into dozens of winning entries for awards schemes (PRWeek, CIPR, PRCA, SABRE, IPRA and more), written website content for businesses from universities and luxury lighting designers to public affairs recruitment agencies and parenting portals, and written for publications including Real Business, Growing Business and the Big Issue.

In seven years as a journalist on leading business titles at Haymarket Publishing, I produced the PRWeek Top 150 league table of PR consultancies, conceived and delivered the magazine’s 15 year anniversary supplement, and was the top business journalist in the company’s Journalist of the Year awards.

I also write the Pinchypants parenting blog http://pinchypants.wordpress.com/, and am a regular contributor on parenting topics to the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2. I studied literature at UWE in Bristol. I am married to Freddie Mercury impersonator, golfer and recruitment outsourcing guru Andrew and we live with two delicious short people: Bridget, born in 2006, and Rupert, born in 2008.
